VPoint.TV scoops 'Best Corporate/Non-Broadcast Programme' at The Royal Television Society Awards.
The
winning production of NanoWhat? Totally Tiny Technology brings the
tiny, fascinating world of nanotechnology to the public on a huge, high
impact scale. It was produced for The University of Nottingham and East
Midlands Development Agency and was shown to 24,000 people at roadshows
across the region.
Professor Clive Roberts,
Director of Nanotechnology Centre, The University of Nottingham, is
thrilled with the result, ‘We’d like to congratulate VPoint.TV on the
Award. The University has been really delighted at the success of the
film, which has made a difficult science accessible to the general
public. It’s had a huge impact, and we’ve had nothing but positive
feedback.
The prestigious Royal Television Society Midlands Awards honour the
very best in programmes that have been produced in the Midlands
recognising ‘production excellence and creativity’.
Founder of VPoint.TV, Ian Sterling, is delighted with the award ‘we’re
very proud to have been recognised by such a prestigious organisation.
It’s a tribute to all the hard work and skill our team puts into every
film we make.’
